Thomas Bier and his family founded Chevauchées Sauratoises in 2023 to share their love of the mountains and horseback riding with the world. The French excursion company offers a natural, respectful approach to horseback riding, with guided excursions in France and Spain for both beginners and advanced high-mountain adventurers.
While Chevauchées Sauratoises guides are experts at what they do, their digital presence didn’t match the beauty of the experience they offered. The French-language website had to build trust and tell a beautiful story, all while simplifying the booking process.
Research-led design, rider-centered execution
Chevauchées Sauratoises are nature-lovers, not developers. Still, they needed a professional website that could:

We built the site using WordPress FSE, powered by the Gutenberg editor. This WYSIWYG editor gave Chevauchées Sauratoises a highly intuitive, drag-and-drop system. Using modular blocks and reusable patterns, we created a custom design system that also matched the company’s visual identity.

We also implemented an integration pathway for their booking and payment partner, ensuring visitors could move seamlessly from inspiration to reservation.
