There was no existing tool on the market, so a customized tool had to be created. The requirement was based on the following functionalities:  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Optimize maintenance of water infrastructures,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage field teams,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Display schedules,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor technicians&#8217; performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>An essential tool in the daily lives of employees, the proposed solution had to facilitate both human resources management and operational efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:41px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:9px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:60%\">\n<div style=\"height:11px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-a-pwa-for-greater-flexibility-and-offline-use\">A PWA for greater flexibility and offline use<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsinteractive.com\/en\/blog\/pwa-native-applications-focus-on-mobile-apps\/\">PWA (Progressive Web App)<\/a> solution was chosen for its flexibility and cost-effectiveness. This technological choice enables CPS EAU to access data from any device, whether desktop, tablet or smartphone, even without an Internet connection. In this way, the PWA makes it possible to carry out important actions in offline mode, such as data entry or maintenance management. As soon as the connection is re-established, data are automatically synchronized with the central database, guaranteeing uninterrupted operations.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PWA has been designed to optimize management of water infrastructures, facilitate maintenance of water networks and track team performance indicators. In particular, it features an interactive map that enables teams to visualize infrastructures and ongoing interventions in real time. This map facilitates the management of field operations and provides an overview of water networks.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WS has integrated UX solutions to keep track of maintenance processes in a fun way, thanks to clear and precise task lists. Each technician can follow the actions to be carried out, check off the steps completed and move forward in an organized and efficient way.
