C\u2019est un principe fondamental d\u2019UX. Et j\u2019entends de plus en plus l\u2019\u00e9quation Good UX = Empathy. Mais est-ce vraiment l\u2019empathie qui dirige nos choix ? D&rsquo;apr\u00e8s Larousse, l&#8217;empathie signifie \u00ab Facult\u00e9 intuitive de se mettre \u00e0 la place d&rsquo;autrui, de percevoir ce qu&rsquo;il ressent \u00bb. Personnellement, je trouve le terme inad\u00e9quat pour d\u00e9finir une approche UX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019empathie, bien entendu, c\u2019est positif. Mais, au fond, quand on doit prendre en consid\u00e9ration tous les enjeux, tous les int\u00e9r\u00eats de l\u2019environnement sur lesquels on travaille, peut on dire que l\u2019empathie soit le leitmotiv de notre approche&nbsp;? L\u2019empathie sugg\u00e8re qu\u2019on se mette dans la peau de chacun de nos visiteurs. M\u00eame si on \u00e9tudie les personas (les profils typiques), la qualit\u00e9 du travail ne peut pas se r\u00e9sumer \u00e0 ce mot, qui en soit ne va pas r\u00e9ellement guider le travail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je propose qu\u2019on simplifie encore plus la t\u00e2che, et dire les choses comme elles sont. Nous avons des compromis \u00e0 trouver constamment, et il y a les contraintes d\u2019entreprise pour nos clients, avec lesquels l\u2019empathie ne peut pas toujours r\u00e9pondre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alors, quoi&nbsp;? Comment&nbsp;? Peut-on se concentrer sur des messages limpides et simples ? Nos clients ont des choses \u00e0 dire\u2026 Si on peut d\u00e9j\u00e0 les structurer de mani\u00e8re coh\u00e9rente et concise, un grand pas est fait. On passe du temps \u00e0 d\u00e9tourner les phrases, l\u2019arborescence\u2026. Ce n\u2019est pas gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019empathie qu\u2019on va trouver la r\u00e9ponse. C\u2019est le travail de clart\u00e9, d\u2019une r\u00e9daction directe et pure qui permet aux visiteurs de s\u2019y retrouver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Puis, dans le look and feel, est-ce qu\u2019on peut plut\u00f4t concentrer sur tous les d\u00e9tails, m\u00eame cach\u00e9s ? Ce n\u2019est pas de l\u2019empathie, mais une attention pointue vers la finesse et la beaut\u00e9 que tous les visiteurs peuvent appr\u00e9cier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce n\u2019est pas de l\u2019empathie, parce que ce que ressent chaque visiteur, je ne peux pas pr\u00e9tendre le savoir. Mais nous pouvons faire un grand pas vers les visiteurs en appliquant une approche claire et soign\u00e9e, tout simplement. Apr\u00e8s tout, l\u2019objectif final d\u2019une entreprise est de bien servir autrui avant tout autre chose.
